Terms & Conditions

Welcome to The Band Hub, a service operated by SongBug Ltd. By making a booking, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your session booking.


1. Bookings and Payments
1.1 All new bookings must be made via our official website using the online booking system. For long-term recurring bookings, please email us on: enquiries@thebandhub.co.uk
1.2 Full payment is taken electronically and upfront at the time of booking for individual or multiple sessions. For recurring weekly sessions, Weekly Pass subscriptions are available, and the payment will be taken on or before the date of each session.
1.3 Upon successful payment, a unique access code will be issued if you don’t already have one. This code is valid based on the type of booking. You may be issued with a unique one-time code for each session, or you may be given a fixed code which can be used for all your sessions. We reserve the right to change the access code system at any time.


2. What’s Included
2.1 Each booking includes exclusive use of a private, soundproofed rehearsal room.
2.2 The following equipment is included: PA system with mixing desk, two guitar amplifiers, one bass amplifier, and a full drum kit.
2.3 The space is completely private — there are no other bands or noise present during your session.
2.4 Recurring weekly block bookings are available to secure regular time slots, with a valid weekly subscription. We reserve the right to change the subscription payment system at any time, and will notify you if this happens so that your current subscription payments and booking can be transferred to the new system without any disruption.

3. Who Can Book
3.1 The Band Hub is suitable for bands of up to six members and student bands.
3.2 If any members of your group are under 16 years of age, a responsible adult must be present for the full duration of the session. This is a safeguarding and insurance requirement, and a condition of use.


4. Cancellation & Rescheduling
4.1 Bookings are refundable, providing at least 24 hours notice is given.
4.2 A session may be rescheduled, provided at least 12 hours notice is given.
4.3 Rescheduling is subject to availability.
4.4 Subscriptions can be cancelled, but any bookings will be cancelled at the same time.
 

5. House Rules
5.1 Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited on the premises.
5.2 All users must leave the room as they found it, switching off equipment and disposing of litter appropriately.
5.3 The door must be fully closed and secured upon leaving.
5.4 No volume restrictions apply if the external door remains closed.
5.5 If the external door is open, volume must be kept to a lower level after 11:00pm.
 

6. Equipment Use and Damage

6.1 Equipment is tested and checked daily before and after each session. 

6.2 Bands are liable for any damage, breakages, or theft occurring during their booking. 

6.3 Any issues must be reported before the end of the rehearsal session. 

7. Insurance

7.1 The Band Hub holds public liability insurance covering injury or incidents on-site. 

7.2 The Band Hub is not liable for loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings or band-owned equipment. 

8. Emergencies and Technical Faults

8.1 In the event of a power cut, technical fault, or access issue that cannot be resolved within 15 minutes, a full refund will be issued. 

8.2 This policy does not apply if the problem was caused by the band, such as by damaging equipment. 


9. Venue Location and Access

9.1 The Band Hub is located within the grounds of Sutton Coldfield Town Football Club. 

9.2 CCTV is in operation throughout the premises. 

9.3 Parking is available under the rules and liability policy of the football club. The Band Hub accepts no responsibility for damage or theft in the car park. 

9.4 Access to The Band Hub is available 7 days a week between the hours of 9am and 11pm. However, vehicle entry and exit may be restricted during football matches, particularly on Saturdays (2:00pm–5:00pm) and occasional Tuesday evenings (7:00pm–10:00pm), but the rehearsal room is still accessible by foot when vehicle entry is restricted. 

10. Acceptance of Terms 

10.1 By making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions. 

10.2 Failure to comply may result in denied access, removal from the premises, or a ban from future bookings.
